Product Development Update: From Prototype to Beta

The device is real, it’s being tested, and we’ve already begun refining it further. Based on early results, we’re heading back to our engineers for another round of updates that we believe will bring us to the production-ready version. This is an important step forward, and the momentum is building.

So far, our preliminary tests have supported the science pioneered by Stanford University and others, who showed that cooling the palms can rapidly lower core temperature, improve endurance, and accelerate recovery (Grahn et al., 2005, Grahn et al., 2012). While our testing sample size is still small, the results so far have been striking.

  • Menopause & Perimenopause: Testers have reported a 100% success rate in reducing the duration of hot flashes. This mirrors findings from clinical trials of handheld cooling in menopausal women (Reid et al., 2015).
  • Anxiety & Panic Attacks: Early signs suggest the device may help reduce anxiety symptoms and stop panic attacks more quickly than without intervention, echoing research on vagus nerve cooling and stress reduction.
  • Athletic Training: Test subjects using the device in the gym are reporting promising results — less fatigue, higher lifts, and greater endurance, consistent with Stanford’s work showing palm cooling improves strength and work volume.

While we acknowledge these are early-stage findings from a small test group, the consistency of the results is very encouraging. It validates not only the underlying science, but also our belief that palm cooling can improve lives across multiple use cases.

We’ll continue refining the design and expanding our testing pool. With each iteration, we get closer to bringing this technology out of the lab and into your hands. Stay tuned — the future of cooling is becoming reality.
